Fresh Beetroot

image imageWe have two lovely fresh varieties of beetroot on the shelf – grown locally “Pablo” and “Chioggia” beetroots are lovely and tasty.  The Choggia originally hails from Northern Italy and has wonderful pink and white spiral patterns through the centre, it has a fabulous sweet and tasty flavour.  The Pablo is a typical darker fleshed beetroot, delicious pickled, roasted or boiled.
